Lamson and Rozansky Publish Article on Asset-Backed Securitization Regulations in The Journal of Structured Finance

Shearman & Sterling counsels Donald N. Lamson (Washington, DC-Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory) and Gregg L. Rozansky (New York- Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory) have published an article, titled "Developments in Asset-Backed Securitization since Dodd-Frank: An Assessment of the Regulatory Landscape" in the September 2011 edition of The Journal of Structured Finance.

In their article, Lamson and Rozansky provide an overview of the current rulemaking process with regard to the asset-backed securitization industry, identifying progress in issuing new rules since the enactment of The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, considering areas where agency rulemaking has been delayed and noting key areas of debate and controversy.
