On July 2, 2010, Shearman & Sterling, the Shanghai Arbitration Commission and the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade will hold in Shanghai a ceremony for the launching of the Chinese edition of Legal Theory of International Arbitration by Emmanuel Gaillard (Peking University Press, 2010), and the inauguration of the Shanghai Arbitration Study Center.

The book was translated by Dr Jie Huang (S.J.D. Duke Law), edited by the renowned arbitrator Jingying Chen, Professor of Law and Dean of the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT) School of Law.

The speakers will include Xiong Fang, Vice-Director of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Professor Jingying Chen and Emmanuel Gaillard.
