London partner Caroline Leeds Ruby, New York partner Joshua Thompson and counsel Michael Steinberg published an article, titled "Intercreditor agreements—spot the difference,” in the February issue of the International Financial Law Review.

The article looks at the differences between how US and English law intercreditor agreements deal with the parties involved. Leeds Ruby, Thompson and Steinberg also compare each legal market's typical structures for leveraged financings, how they treat default and their approach to cramdowns and releases. The article goes on to discuss emerging trends in the market.
