Rome, April 19, 2007 -- Shearman & Sterling's Rome office has represented Morgan Stanley Real Estate Special Situations Fund and Morgan Stanley Principal Investments in a private equity investment for the acquisition of a 10% stake in Holding Sanità e Servizi S.p.A. through the  subscription to shares in a share capital increase that was completed today.  Holding Sanità e Servizi S.p.A. is a leading Italian private healthcare company controlled by the CIR Group, an industrial holding company of the De Benedetti Group, which is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.
