Parisi a Featured Panelist at Dodd-Frank Event
7 Oct 2010
Donna M. Parisi

New York partner Donna Parisi, head of the firm’s Asset Management Group, participated in a panel at an invitation-only event organized by The Glass Hammer, a website for women executives in financial services, law and business. The event brought together leading industry figures to discuss changes to the capital markets landscape following passage of Dodd-Frank regulatory reform.

Parisi’s co-panelists included Gina Biondo, PricewaterhouseCoopers financial services tax partner; Christine Hurtsellers, ING Investment Management Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income and Proprietary Investments; Marcy Engel, Eton Park Capital Management Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel; and Holly Miller, Stone House Consulting partner. With moderator Heidi Moore, a business journalist, the panel talked about the evolution of the Dodd-Frank bill, opportunities created by the legislation, its unintended consequences, and its effects on investors and other stakeholders.

Parisi, who has been speaking frequently to clients and other financial services executives regarding financial regulatory reform, said, “The panel presented a chance for women executives to focus not only on the challenges their institutions will face in light of Dodd-Frank, but also on the possibilities for navigating financial regulatory reform to gain a competitive advantage for their businesses.”
