Rave Reviews for FCPA Digest
19 Jan 2012

Shearman & Sterling's renowned FCPA Digest received powerful endorsements from two of the industry's leading blogs, FCPA Blog and FCPA Professor.

Commenting on the release of the firm's semiannual update to the FCPA Digest, its "Recent Trends and Patterns in the Enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act," the FCPA Blog wrote, "There's no subtle way to say this: We love Shearman & Sterling's FCPA Digest ... The January 2012 edition is nearly seven hundred pages. In it are every DOJ and SEC enforcement action -- catalogued, explained, and analyzed. There are also parallel cases (private suits), ongoing investigations, and all the DOJ opinion procedure releases." The blog cited editors Philip Urofsky and Dan Newcomb and added, "The FCPA Digest is a monumental work and an amazing gift to the compliance world ... We use the FCPA Digest every day in our work here. And our admiration for the publication keeps growing."

The FCPA Professor was also highly complimentary in announcing the availability of the "Recent Trends and Patterns" report and the updated FCPA Digest, writing, "Shearman & Sterling’s 'Recent Trends and Patterns in the Enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act' always impresses." The FCPA Professor adds that "Shearman & Sterling publications are always strong on jurisdictional issues" and "is as complete of an FCPA source as you will find."
