London-based head of the firm's Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory Group Barney Reynolds was quoted in a Financial Times article, "City confidence on tax plan faces test" on November 17, 2011. Reynolds said any effort to enforce a financial transaction tax on trading activity in the UK by entities incorporated within the eurozone or forming part of eurozone-headquartered groups could trigger “politically charged constitutional disputes over extraterritoriality and interference in UK affairs.”
