Paris, November 12, 2008—Shearman & Sterling recently advised Groupe de Louvre, a subsidiary of Starwood Capital Group, on the sale of the Ambassador Hotel to Westmont Hospitality Group.

Groupe de Louvre sold the shares comprising the share capital of the company A. Hôtel, which manages and owns the Ambassador Hotel, to Westmont Hospitality Group on October 31. Founded in 1927, the Ambassador is a four-star Parisian hotel comprising 294 rooms and suites located at 16-24, boulevard Haussmann (Paris 9th).
