Shearman & Sterling Advises BE Aerospace in Acquisition of TSI Group Inc.

Shearman & Sterling represented BE Aerospace, the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and the world's leading distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables, in its planned acquisition of TSI Group, Inc. (TSI) in a deal valued at $310 million. TSI is the market leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of customized, fully integrated, thermal management and interconnect solutions that address complex power management requirements of OEMs in the aerospace and defense industries. The deal is expected to close by year's end.

The Shearman & Sterling team was led by a New York mergers & acquisitions team including partner Stephen Besen and associates Justin Mak, Gregory Gewirtz, Sheila Jain and Itzhak Shukrie.
