New York, June 9, 2008—Shearman & Sterling advised B/E Aerospace, Inc. in its $1.05 billion acquisition of Honeywell’s Consumables Solutions distribution business (HCS). B/E Aerospace is the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and the leading aftermarket distributor of aerospace fasteners. Honeywell Consumables Solutions serves a worldwide customer base that includes all major original equipment manufacturers, airlines, maintenance repair operators, flight service centers and distributors, supplying consumable hardware products and services.
