Geokinetics Inc. is a full-service, global provider of seismic data acquisition and seismic data processing and interpretation services. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the concurrent offerings, together with the proceeds from the issuance of shares of its common stock to Petroleum Geo-Services ASA, in part to finance its acquisition of the on-shore seismic and multi-client seismic library business of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA.
