Investment fund BC Partners sold 7 million shares of Medica, a French operator of nursing homes, at €13.75 per share, for a total amount of €96.25 million. Following this transaction, BC Partners holds 30.5% of the capital and voting rights of the French dependency care market’s leading player. The transaction was realized through a block trade of shares by way of a private placement to institutional investors through an accelerated book building (ABB).
