Mannheim, December 17, 2007—Shearman & Sterling advises RENOLIT AG on the acquisition of the furniture film operations of Benecke-Kaliko AG. In return, RENOLIT AG transfers its automotive film production operations, which are located in Munich, to Benecke-Kaliko AG, a subsidiary of the Continental Group.

The Federal Cartel Office has approved the transaction negotiated in July of this year. The transaction should be completed to mid-2008.
