Shearman & Sterling represented Twitter, Inc. in its acquisition of internet security firm Dasient, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Twitter is a communication platform allowing people across the world to interact instantly through "tweets." Dasient is a company focused on solving web-scale security problems involving malware and other types of online abuse.
