Shearman & Sterling Advises Underwriters in Time Warner Cable’s $2 Billion Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank Securities and Goldman, Sachs & Co. as joint lead bookrunning managers and representatives of the several underwriters in connection with a public offering of $500 million of 3.50% Notes due 2015 and $1.5 billion of 5.00% Notes due 2020 by Time Warner Cable Inc. The notes are guaranteed by two of Time Warner Cable’s subsidiaries, TW NY Cable Holding Inc. and Time Warner Entertainment Company, L.P. Time Warner Cable is the nation’s second-largest cable operator, offering video, high-speed data, and voice services to customers primarily located in New York State, North and South Carolina, Ohio, southern California and Texas.
