Frankfurt/Main, September 26, 2007—Shearman & Sterling represented Winterthur Technologie AG, a leading European supplier of technologically advanced precision grinding wheels and super abrasives, with production facilities in Austria, Germany and Sweden, in connection with a capital increase to finance the acquisition of the Wendt Group. The international equity offering had a volume of approximately CHF 100 million.
