Shearman & Sterling has represented Ziggo Bond Company B.V., the largest cable network operator in the Netherlands, on its €1.2 billion bond offering. The firm also represented Ziggo in connection with the amendment of its senior credit facility to allow for the high yield offering.
The offering closed on 7 May and was one of the largest European high yield bond offerings this year.
Ziggo, which is owned by private equity firms Warburg Pincus and Cinven, will use the proceeds from the offering to repay its outstanding mezzanine debt.
