Shearman & Sterling Advises on Credit Facility for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Shearman & Sterling represented BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Banc of America Securities LLC and The Bank Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, LTD as joint lead arrangers and joint book managers of a $5 billion, 364-day credit facility for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation and some of its affiliates.

Toyota Motor Credit Corporation is the U.S. financing arm of Toyota Financial Services, a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, the largest carmaker in Japan.

The Shearman & Sterling team was led by partners Bill Hirschberg (New York-Finance Group), Laurence E.
