Shearman & Sterling Advises on Financing of Largest Wind Farm in Central America

Shearman & Sterling represented Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) in connection with the CABEI and Export-Import Bank of the United States financing of the 100 MW Cerro de Hula wind farm being developed by Mesoamerica and Globeleq in Honduras. The Cerro de Hula wind farm will be the largest wind farm in all of Central America when completed.

The Shearman & Sterling team was led by partner Gregory Tan (Project Development & Finance-New York) and included associates Alexandro Padrés (Project Development & Finance-New York) and Daniella Polar (Project Development & Finance-New York).
