Shearman & Sterling was sole international counsel, representing Citigroup Global Markets Limited, IMTrust International S.A. and LXG Capital International C.V., as co-placement agents, in connection with Grupo ACP Inversiones y Desarrollo’s (“Grupo ACP”) Regulation S offering of $85,000,000 in principal amount of 9.00% Notes due 2021. Grupo ACP is a not-for-profit financial services holding company and a leading microfinance organization in Latin America. Its subsidiary, Mibanco, Banco de la Microempresa S.A., is the leading microfinance institution in Peru. Grupo ACP plans to use proceeds to make additional investments in microfinance organizations in Mexico and in the northeast of Brazil.
