Shearman & Sterling Advises on Minefinders Corporation's Bought-deal Offering of Common Shares

Shearman & Sterling represented BMO Capital Markets, Scotia Capital and Salman Partners in connection with a bought-deal offering of C$66.03 million of common shares of Minefinders Corporation Ltd.("Minefinders"). Minefinders will use the proceeds of the offering for repayment of debt, continued development of its La Bolsa property, future expansion and mill construction at its Dolores Mine, and general corporate purposes. ‬

Minefinders is a precious metals mining and exploration company and operates the multi-million ounce Dolores gold and silver mine in Mexico. Minefinders continues its exploration efforts on other prospective projects in Mexico to build a quality pipeline of precious metals projects for future growth.
