Shearman & Sterling represented Oxea Finance & Cy S.C.A. in connection with its offering of €300 million Senior Secured Notes due 2017 and $260 million Senior Secured Notes due 2017. The firm also represented Oxea in connection with the entering into of a new multi-currency revolving credit facility and a new multi-currency guarantee facility. The offering involved securing assets in Luxembourg, Germany, Hungary and the Netherlands.
Oxea is the second largest manufacturer of oxo chemicals globally, producing more than 60 products for customers in a wide range of industries. Oxea’s core shareholder is the private equity firm Advent International.
