Shearman & Sterling has announced that David Dixter has joined the firm as Counsel in its capital markets team. He will be based in the firm’s London office.
From 2002 Dixter was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb in its London and New York offices. There he advised foreign governments, public and private sector companies and investment banks in securities law and corporate governance matters, and equity and debt capital markets, financing, debt restructuring and liability management transactions.
Dixter has LLB and BCL (Bachelor of Civil Law) degrees from McGill University and is a New York-qualified lawyer.
