Shearman & Sterling Expands Into New Brussels Office

To accommodate the considerable expansion of the Antitrust practice earlier this year with the addition of the core group of Howrey’s highly successful Brussels office, Shearman & Sterling is moving into the Winterthur building between the Brussels European Quarter and the Royal Palace.

In March 2011, Shearman & Sterling hired a team of 4 partners and 13 associates from Howrey’s Brussels office, including former practice co-chair Trevor Soames and Stephen Mavroghenis, who currently co-leads the global practice with New York partner Beau Buffier.
