Shearman & Sterling mediated the agreement recently announced by IBM and ASUSTeK which ends all current patent litigation between the two companies. The companies said that they have entered into a broad patent cross licensing agreement that will be the basis for future collaboration between the companies. Financial terms were not disclosed. Shearman & Sterling's Vicki S. Veenker, Of Counsel in Menlo Park (Intellectual Property), served as the mediator.
