Shearman & Sterling represented 601 West Associates LLC in its sale of the Starrett-Lehigh office building, 601 W. 26th St., in New York for approximately $1 billion and the defeasance of the existing financing for the building. Indirect owners of 601 West Associates LLC are Mark Karasick and Shorenstein Fund Seven.
