Shearman & Sterling represented Brazil’s Renova Energia S.A. in its US$85 million initial public offering on BM&FBOVESPA, the São Paulo stock exchange. Renova Energia, a renewable energy company focused on wind farms and small hydroelectric plants, is the leader in implementing wind energy projects in Brazil.

The Shearman & Sterling team advising the company was led by partner Robert Ellison (São Paulo) and associates Ana Absy (São Paulo), Gustavo Gonzalez (São Paulo) and Luciana Fraga (São Paulo).
