The $3.1 billion Pueblo Viejo Gold Project in the Dominican Republic, on which Shearman & Sterling advised Pueblo Viejo Dominicana Corporation, a joint venture between Barrick Gold and Goldcorp Inc., was also listed by Dealogic as the fourth largest global project finance deal to close in the first half of 2010.
