Frankfurt/Main, June 17, 2008 — Shearman & Sterling advised Allianz Global Investors on the planned joint venture with DekaBank to combine their fund accounting and fund administration activities.
Operations of the joint venture are expected to begin on October 1, 2008. With assets under administration of more than EUR 300 billion and 340 employees, the joint venture will be the largest provider of fund accounting and fund administration services in the German market.
