Düsseldorf, November 8, 2006 — Shearman & Sterling advised the European investment company IVG Immobilien AG on its increase of its shareholding in Oppenheim Immobilien-Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (OIK) from 50.1% at present to 94%. IVG will purchase 25% from Sal. Oppenheim bank in November. The increase to 94% will be effective in January 2007.
OIK is Germany´s market leader for special real estate funds with a fund volume of approximately €10 billion.
