Shearman & Sterling LLP has represented alstria office REIT-AG ("alstria") in connection with the refinancing of EUR 646 million existing indebtedness. The new facility in the amount of EUR 630 million was provided by a club of five banks and arranged by UniCredit Bank AG. Further members of the syndicate are Berlin-Hannoversche Hypothekenbank AG, Eurohypo Aktiengesellschaft, HSH Nordbank AG and Natixis. The additional EUR 16 million have been repaid from alstria's liquidity.

Shearman & Sterling has already advised alstria regarding its offers to shareholders of a dividend in own shares, on its IPO and its conversion into a REIT-AG and regularly advises the company on finance, corporate and capital market issues.
