Shearman & Sterling was awarded Top Law Firm for Asia ex-Japan M&A for 2009 at the Pinnacle Group’s 3rd Annual Asian Mergers & Acquisitions Awards Ceremony 2009 in Kuala Lumpur on 28 September. The award is based on the Thomson Financial league table ratings for the first quarter of 2009. Hong Kong M&A partner Greg Puff spoke on a panel at the event on the topic of “Cross Border M&A Opportunities in Asia and Abroad.”
