19 Mar 2010
Steven E. Sherman

San Francisco finance partner Steven E. Sherman has been elected a Fellow to the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers.

The American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers was founded in 1991 by a group of lawyers who were active on the Commercial Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. One of the college's primary goals is the recognition of those individuals who have not only attained a high degree of skill in the field of law but who have helped others in the field by sharing their knowledge.

Sherman represents financial institutions, borrowers and issuers in private debt and equity placements, leveraged acquisition financings, cogeneration and natural resource financings, securitizations and tax advantaged structured financings. His practice also includes representing lenders and borrowers in the reorganization or workout of industrial companies, oil service companies, retailers, project financings, healthcare companies, natural resource companies and real estate projects.
