New York capital markets partner Lisa Jacobs was quoted in a March 9 story on businessweek.com, titled “IPOs: No Deals on the Horizon.” According to Jacobs, the process for filing for an IPO can take several months. Some optimistic companies are starting the process now in hopes they can go public later this year, she says: “The IPO market always comes back. It’s just a question of when.”
