Practice
Mr. Cummings is the managing partner of the Toronto office, practicing U.S. securities law with a particular emphasis on cross-border capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He has worked on a broad range of public and private transactions for investment banks and companies in a number of industries, including insurance, oil and gas, mining, transportation, computer hardware and software development and telecommunications. Mr. Cummings’ practice includes providing advice regarding corporate governance and other general corporate matters. Mr. Cummings joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2003. He has worked in the firm’s Toronto office since 1995 and became managing partner in Toronto in 2005.
