Colin Law is a partner in Shearman & Sterling’s Hong Kong office. He is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the High Court. His practice focuses on securities and M&A transactions and his experience includes advising bulge bracket US investment banks on international public offerings, takeovers of public companies, regulatory matters, and debt capital markets transactions.

Colin represents multinational companies doing business in China.  He represents leading Chinese State-owned enterprises on the development of their global strategies and advising on some of the largest overseas acquisitions and joint ventures by the Chinese.  He is particularly involved in the financial services, insurance, natural resources, and telecom sectors.
