London financial institutions advisory partner Barney Reynolds appeared on CNBC TV18 (India) talking about likely forthcoming international regulatory reforms. Although he expressed the view that the financial crisis could have been prevented with better regulation, he commented that the fundamentals of the current regulatory structure are sound. “So my personal hope is that there won't be a reaction that involves completely tearing things up and starting again,” he said.
