Partner Philip Urofsky (Washington, DC-Litigation) and associate R. Zach Torres-Fowler (New York-International Arbitration) co-authored an article, titled “The Firtash Case May Present Jeff Sessions’ Department of Justice With Its First Real Test on FCPA Enforcement,” that was published in Bloomberg BNA’s Criminal Law Reporter on March 1. In this article, the authors examine the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) case of the Ukrainian oligarch, Dymtro Firtash, and how the Justice Department’s approach to the case may shed light on the Trump Administration’s disposition towards future FCPA matters.
