Simon Burrows


Simon Burrows, a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups, advises private equity and captive investors, hedge funds, public and private corporations and management teams on a range of complex cross-border transactions.

Part of a broad corporate practice, Simon has specialist expertise in a wide range of private equity transactions, together with public and private mergers and acquisitions, co-investments and joint ventures. In addition, he also has experience in restructurings, private funds and equity capital markets transactions.

He is recommended by the Chambers UK, Legal 500 and IFLR legal directories, has been profiled as a private equity “Rising Star” by Law360, recognised as a Super Lawyer Rising Star”, selected as a “Deal Maker of the Year 2012” by Finance Monthly and was awarded “UK Young Dealmaker of the Year” at the 2011 M&A Awards.

Simon is a member of the firm’s global Practice Management Committee.
