Denise M. Grant


Denise Grant is a partner in the Project Development & Finance Group. Her practice consists of representing multinational corporations, financial institutions and multilaterals and export credit agencies in their secured and unsecured private financing activities, including acquisition financings, corporate restructurings, project finance transactions in emerging markets and other domestic and international private financings. Ms. Grant also advises lenders on political risk insurance matters with private sector, export credit agency and multilateral providers of political risk coverage. Ms. Grant is widely acknowledged as a leading figure in the market, where clients note “she has a broad view of the matter at stake and sees the risk that we may be facing beyond banking.”

Lauded as one of the “2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers” by Savoy Magazine, Ms. Grant is also named a leading lawyer in Latin America-wide Banking & Finance by Chambers Latin America (2015), in Latin America Investment by Chambers USA (2014), in Bank Lending and Latin-America-wide Banking & Finance by Chambers Global (2015), in Banking & Finance and Projects & Energy by Legal 500 Latin America (2014), and in Banking by IFLR 1000 (2015).   • Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., as bookrunner and lead arranger, in connection with a $170 million financing for Stabilit America Inc., a subsidiary of Grupo Verzatec, S.A. de C.V., for the acquisition of NPI Holding Corp., parent company of Nudo Products and Marlite
  • BBVA Bancomer, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer, Banco Nacional de México, S.A., Integrante del Grupo Financiero Banamex, Banco Santander (México), S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero Santander México, The Bank of Nova Scotia, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and Export Development Canada (EDC), as joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners, in connection with a $300 million senior unsecured financing for Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V.
  • The Bank of Nova Scotia, as administrative agent, and Scotiabank Chile, as arranger, in connection with a revolving credit facility for Molymex S.A. de C.V.
  • Citibank Del Perú S.A., as administrative agent, in connection with a $249 million senior secured financing for Corporación Primax, S.A.
