Thomas König


Thomas König is managing partner of the German office of Shearman & Sterling and a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He practices primarily in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, public takeovers, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and privatizations, particularly advising German and foreign corporations and private equity sponsors as well as investment banks in domestic and cross-border M&A and other transactions.

Thomas is recognized as a leading and frequently recommended lawyer for Corporate/M&A by major directories – Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and JUVE.
