Jeremy Kutner is a partner in the M&A Group and head of the firm's Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) Industry Group. Jeremy advises on a broad range of corporate transactions, ranging from public and private M&A to equities work, joint ventures and restructurings. Many of the transactions Jeremy has worked on in recent years have been recognised as some of the most innovative and ground-breaking in the market.

Jeremy has been named a "Market Leader" by IFLR1000 2018 and a “Financial and Corporate Leading Lawyer” by IFLR1000 2017. He has also been “Commended” by the FT Innovative Lawyers Europe 2016 in the “Innovation in mergers and acquisitions” category. Jeremy is ranked for high-end M&A in Chambers UK, which describes him as “particularly impressive” and “extremely pragmatic and focused on the fundamental business objectives,” as well as Legal 500 UK, which notes that he is “extremely hardworking, and relentless at getting the deal done without losing sight of the client’s objective.” He is recognised as a “Rising Star” by Law360, an accolade he received twice in three years, as well as one of the “40 under 40 Rising Stars” by Financial News. Clients have described Jeremy as “super sharp, highly measured and highly commercial,” and comment that he “really understands what the client wants.

Jeremy is also on the consulting editorial board of the Lexis®PSL and is the general editor of Tolley's Company Law Service.

  • Liberty Global plc on the takeover of Cable & Wireless Communications plc at an enterprise value of $8.2 billion
  • Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) on its establishment as an international financial centre in the United Arab Emirates. This deal was awarded “Regulatory and Investigations Team of the Year” at The British Legal Awards 2016 and “Corporate Team of the Year” at the Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards 2015.
  • Fairfax Financial Holdings on the £1.2 billion takeover of Brit plc
  • Liberty Global plc on its acquisition of Virgin Media Inc. in a stock and cash merger transaction valued at approximately $23.3 billion
  • Nokia on its €1.7 billion acquisition of Siemens’ stake in Nokia Siemens Networks
