Manuel A. Orillac

Manuel Orillac is a partner in the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups of Shearman & Sterling. Mr. Orillac joined the firm in 1985, and has practised in the firm’s New York, Paris and Abu Dhabi offices. He has extensive experience in transactions in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, including advising on complicated cross-border mergers and acquisition transactions, joint ventures, debt and equity offerings, and equipment and project financings. Mr. Orillac is a native speaker of Spanish and is fluent in English and French.

  • Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, S.A., a Panamanian government-owned operator of the country's principal international airport , in connection with the offering of US$575 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.625% senior secured Notes
  • BofA Merrill Lynch as sole lead manager and bookrunner in connection with a Rule 144A/Reg. S global offering of fixed rate notes by the Republic of Guatemala
  • Autoridad del Canal de Panamá in connection with the offering of U.S.$450,000,000 4.950% Bonds under Rule 144A/Reg S
  • Transelec S.A. in connection with separate offerings of U.S.$350,000,000 3.875% Senior Notes, U.S.$375,000,000 4.250% Senior Notes and US$300,000,000 4.625% Senior Notes under Rule 144A/Reg. S senior notes under Rule 144A/Reg. S
