  • Advising a U.S. utility on its prospective acquisition of the 1000 MW Drakelow coal-fired power station from TXU
  • Advising the lenders arranging finance for the acquisition by Edison Mission Energy of 4000MW of coal-fired generation capacity from PowerGen plc
  • Advising the lenders arranging finance for the project financing of a gas-fired independent power station at Spalding, England
  • Advising the sponsors in connection with the development of an LNG regasification facility in the United Kingdom
  • Advising the lenders arranging finance for the project financing of an LNG regasification facility in Italy
  • A six month secondment to the London office of a U.S. electricity utility which primarily involved the development of a number of gas-fired power projects in Spain and included the negotiation of gas supply and third party access arrangements with the national gas supply and transmission companies
  • Advising the lenders arranging finance for NRG's acquisition of the gas-fired 650 MW Killingholme Power Station from National Power
  • Advising the lenders on all aspects of the project financing of a 750 MW gas-fired independent power station at Coryton, Essex
