Practice
Hans Diekmann is a partner in the Corporate group of the Düsseldorf office of Shearman & Sterling. He advises primarily on corporate law issues, as well as on capital market issues. In addition he advises banks, investors and companies in respect of structured finance, i.e. acquisition finance; senior, second lien and mezzanine loans; profit-sharing rights; real estate finance; combined bank/bond (high-yield) finance; and project finance.

He has been a partner at Shearman & Sterling since 1999. Before that, he spent more than seven years of his career with the central legal department of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.
