Tokyo Managing Partner Masahisa Ikeda (Tokyo—Capital Markets/M&A) has been named as one of the best lawyers in Japan for “Companies Act/M&A,” “Capital Markets” and “Private Equity/Venture Capital,” and Partner Ken Lebrun (Tokyo—M&A) has been named as one of the best lawyers in Japan for “Companies Act/M&A” and “Private Equity/Venture Capital,” in “The Best Lawyers in Japan 2011” survey conducted by the U.S. publisher Best Lawyers.

The best lawyers were selected based on exhaustive peer-review surveys in which a number of leading lawyers confidentially evaluated their professional peers.  This year’s best lawyers in Japan were selected from among Japanese lawyers as well as foreign lawyers registered as “Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi” with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations as of April 30, 2010.
