Shearman & Sterling partner Mitchell Menaker (New York-Tax) has been reappointed to the Federal Tax Committee of the Washington-based Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA). He will be responsible for preparing a submission to Treasury on key tax issues in connection with renewable energy financing. ELFA is the national trade association representing financial services companies and manufacturers engaged in financing the utilization and investment in capital goods.
