Practice Maura O’Sullivan, a partner in the Finance Group, has extensive experience in representing financial advisors, lenders and borrowers in various financings, with a particular emphasis on acquisition financings, leveraged lending, restructurings and asset-based finance. Ms. O’Sullivan joined the firm in 1985 and became a partner in 1999. She is ranked a leading lawyer in banking and finance by Chambers USA, IFLR 1000 and PLC Which Lawyer?. She was also shortlisted for “Finance Lawyer of the Year” (2012) by Chambers USA Women in Law Awards.

- Barclays Bank PLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as joint global coordinators, mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners in connection with a cross-border, multicurrency and covenant-lite Term Loan B bank financing consisting of a $2 billion term loan facility, a $375 million short-dated term loan facility and a €500 million term loan facility for certain affiliates of INEOS AG, one of the world's largest chemical companies
- Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc. as sole lead arranger and as a joint bookrunner in connection with an amendment and extension of HUB International Limited's senior secured term and revolving credit facilities
- Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and RBC Capital Markets as joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners in connection with a $190 million refinancing for Proquest LLC, which consisted of a senior secured term facility and a revolving credit facility
- Boston Scientific Corporation as borrower under a $2 billion five-year revolving credit facility agented by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.
- Bank of America, N.A. as administrative agent and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Goldman Sachs Bank USA as joint lead arrangers in connection with a $1.6 billion senior secured refinancing for LPL Holdings, Inc.
- BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and The Bank Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. as joint lead arrangers and joint book managers in connection with a $5 billion 364-day credit facility for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation and some of its affiliates
- Morgan Stanley Senior Funding Inc. as sole lead arranger and sole bookrunner in connection with a $700 million financing for Neustar, Inc.’s acquisition of TARGUS Information Corporation and ongoing general corporate needs
- Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc. and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. as joint lead arrangers, joint bookrunners and co-syndication agents of a $310 million first lien and $140 million second lien financing for Alkermes, Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Elan Drug Technologies, a unit of Elan Corporation, plc
