Practice
Marc Plepelits is a partner in Shearman & Sterling’s Capital Markets practice group and is located in the firm’s Frankfurt office. He regularly represents issuers, underwriters and other market participants in a wide range of equity, equity-linked and debt financings, including initial public offerings, capital increases and offerings of investment grade and high yield bonds and of convertible and hybrid instruments. He focuses particularly on international transactions by Austrian, German and Swiss companies. Mr. Plepelits has handled transactions by issuers involved in a wide variety of businesses and industries, including automotive, banking, electronics, insurance, oil and gas, real estate, telecommunications and steel. His practice also includes providing advice on U.S. federal securities laws, corporate governance and other corporate matters, both on an ongoing basis in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
