Practice

Mr. Torkin, a partner at Shearman & Sterling, advises companies on out-of-court financial and corporate restructurings and Chapter 11 reorganizations, acquirers of distressed businesses and boards of directors of financially distressed companies. He also represents private equity investors in connection with private M&A transactions and general corporate matters. Mr. Torkin joined Shearman & Sterling in 1998.
